Yirra Maar (Hand Up) is our employment program for Aboriginal people who are of working age and unemployed. We have specialist experience, working with people who have a criminal history or at risk of contact with the law.
We work to assist each person overcome issues which make securing or keeping employment a challenge, help go past simple survival, track down job roles which suit each person and assist entering and staying at work. We walk beside each person at the pace best suited to the situation.
Planning, mentoring and support are keys to the way we assist.
